Pre-Season Tournament Recap

During the break between fall and spring seasons many Avalanche teams participated in tournaments throughout the state. The result? Some great memories and well-earned trophies! 

3 teams played in Pueblo Ranger Sunbelt Classic in late February, including the 2010 B Platinum, the 2007 B Platinum and 2007 G Platinum teams. Congratulations to the 2007 G Platinum team who took 2nd place in the gold division of their age group. 

Over the first weekend of March, 11 Avalanche teams participated in Foothills Spring Soccer Kickoff. The following teams made a trip to the finals: 

• 2010 G Platinum – 1st place
• 2009 G Blue – 1st place 
• 2008 B Platinum – 1st place 
• 05/06 Girls – 2nd place 

Great playing by all WRASC teams who participated in pre-season tournaments and a big thank you to the coaches and families who made it happen!
